“I really should write a blogpost again, but I just can’t think of anything.” Exactly this sentence accompanied me over the last few days. I sat there, so eager to share a valuable insight with you, felt this inner expectation, and noticed how my mind was becoming emptier and emptier. The more I wanted it, the less happened.
At some point, I took a deep breath and consciously released the pressure. I allowed myself to be completely okay if no topic came to me today. And in the exact moment I stopped searching for an answer, it was suddenly there. It became clear to me that this very pressure we put on ourselves is our topic for today.
Because in the connection with our animals, the exact same thing happens to us. We love our animals so deeply and want to do everything right for them. We wish for nothing more than to understand them and to correctly interpret their subtle signals. We sit down, wanting to perceive, wanting to receive, and instantly there is effort and pressure.
Our thoughts start circling. Am I open enough? Am I receiving the right thing, or is my mind just making it up? We evaluate ourselves before the first fine frequency can even reach our heart. We place expectations on ourselves, on the moment, and sometimes on the animal too.
I know this frequency all too well. But what actually happens energetically in this moment?
When we want something, we enter an active, outward-directed energy. We reach for the answer, so to speak. But true perception, the deep impulses from the field, and the subtle language of your animal need the exact opposite. They need reception. And we can only receive when we open the space for what is already there.
When we become softer on the inside and let go of the pressure to perform, the language of our animals suddenly becomes so much easier to hear. Perhaps the biggest shift in our perception isn’t that our animal or the field starts speaking louder. Perhaps the true magic only happens when we finally stop constantly interrupting with our thoughts.
Your animal does not care at all whether you can put a perception into perfect words. It doesn’t judge you. It isn’t looking for the perfect translation. It simply feels your presence and your heart. When you put yourself under pressure, it feels that tension. But when you can take a breath and allow yourself to simply be there without having to achieve anything, the energy and with it the answer flows all by itself.
So instead of asking ourselves again and again what else we need to do to understand our animal, we can ask ourselves a much gentler question today: What have I almost overlooked because I was too busy searching?
I invite you to let go of the pressure over the next few days. Soften, breathe through, and observe what quietly reveals itself when you stop searching. You might be surprised by what enters the space then.
How does this resonate with you? Do you know this inner pressure too, and where do you feel it the most? Feel free to reply to this email, I would love to hear from you.
From my heart,
Tanja
