As I make the final preparations for my time off and let my daily routine slowly settle into quietness, one theme keeps coming back to me: trust in the strength and the soul of our animals.

Perhaps you know this too. Whenever a change is on the horizon – like a trip or a period where we aren’t as physically or temporally present as usual – we tend to slip into a caretaking mode that can feel almost stifling. We worry, we feel a quiet sense of guilt, and energetically, we often treat our animals as needy beings who would be lost without our constant guidance.

But what if we shifted our perspective?

My Maja and my Ida are my most loyal companions, but they are also independent souls with their own inherent strength. When I withdraw for a while or when we step out of our usual routines, it is a choice: Do I carry worry in my luggage? Or do I trust that they can stay in their center, regardless of what the external framework looks like?

One of the greatest gifts we can give our animals is trust in their own competence.

Animals are often much clearer and more resilient than we think. They possess an enormous ability to rest in their own power when we give them the space to do so. When we meet them with the feeling of: “I know you can do this. I trust your strength,” we give them freedom. It’s not about leaving them behind; it’s about seeing them in their greatness.

Trust is a frequency that reaches far beyond physical presence or shared daily life. It is an invitation for the animal to grow into its own wisdom.

Perhaps over the next few days, you might want to observe how you see your animal. Do you see the “worry child”? Or do you allow yourself to recognize the powerful soul within them that brings its own strength to its life? Not out of fear. But out of trust.

I am now heading into my break with exactly this trust. This also means that things will be a bit quieter here for a while and you won’t receive any newsletters from me. I am using this time to clear my own field and gather new heart energy.

I will be back for you and your animals with fresh inspiration starting May 18th.

I am curious to see what changes when you allow your animal to be truly “big.” Trust your perception.

With love, Tanja
