The Christmas season is approaching – and with it comes a special energy that many of us feel every year. It’s not just the outer bustle, the lights, or the sense of wrapping up the year. It’s also the inner movement this time brings: memories, expectations, joy, longing, and sometimes a little overwhelm.
And while we humans perceive this mixture consciously or unconsciously, our animals feel it in their own very sensitive way.
For them, Christmas isn’t a date on a calendar.
It is a field, a collective space where our moods, thoughts, and emotions become more intense.
Many animals become more sensitive, clingier, or withdraw more often during this time—not because “something is wrong,” but because they perceive us, our environment, and the collective field so intensely.
Today I want to share a few impulses that may support both of you during this special time.
✨ Your inner frequency guides your animal
Our animals don’t just notice how we feel—they attune to us.
When we’re rushed or scattered, they often lose their inner balance as well.
When we are calm, they breathe with us.
A moment of conscious presence, a slow breath, a soft look—these small things can bring much more harmony than we might think. And they help your animal navigate more easily between festive liveliness and the rest it needs.
✨ Clear energy creates safety
Visits, changing routines, shifting moods—animals orient themselves less by words and more by our inner space.
If you radiate clearly: “All is well. I’m here.”
… your animal will understand the situation more easily.
Your clarity is often the strongest form of guidance you can offer.
✨ Give your animal a real choice
Some animals love being in the middle of everything.
Others tolerate it.
And some simply want a quiet, safe spot.
Especially at Christmas, offering your animal choices can make a world of difference:
Can it come and go as it wishes?
Is there a retreat where it can truly be undisturbed?
Can it decide for itself whether it wants company or quiet?
This freedom reduces stress and strengthens your connection at the same time.
✨ Presence is the true gift
Not perfect cookies.
Not the most beautifully decorated tree.
Not the perfect celebration.
For your animal, your presence is the greatest gift.
A quiet moment on the sofa, a soft touch, a loving look—these are the moments that reach their heart. And often our animals remind us of what this time is really about.
✨ A small exercise for both of you
If you feel called to, try this in the coming days:
Sit down with your animal, place one hand on your heart, and take a few slow, conscious breaths. Imagine a warm, golden light surrounding both of you.
This light connects you, softens the energy around you, and brings calm to your shared field.
Many animals respond immediately—with a sigh, a more relaxed body, or by gently leaning into you.
✨ What animals truly wish for at Christmas
This is something I hear again and again in communications:
They wish to be…
… seen.
… understood.
… met with presence rather than perfection.
… freed from the pressure we place on ourselves during this time—because they feel it too.
Animals bring so much love into this world. And especially at Christmas, they remind us how precious real connection is.
I wish you and your animal a gentle, peaceful, and deeply connected Christmas season.
May it nourish you, bring you closer together, and perhaps even offer a few small miracles.
With love,
Tanja
