Perhaps you know this feeling when you would love to help your animal, but in daily life, you feel like you just do not understand them properly. It almost feels as if you are standing in a fog, asking yourself with doubt what your animal truly needs, how they are doing, and why your own perception feels so uncertain at times. What I want to share with you today is something I experience anew in almost every single one of my animal communications. You actually know so much more than you think, and your animal has been speaking to you for a long time, in a much more direct way than your mind would ever assume.

Time and again, people in my sessions tell me about decisions they made for their animals quite unconsciously, without being able to explain them logically at first. They simply followed a subtle impulse because something inside them felt exactly right. And every single time I speak with the animal afterward, they show me the exact same thing. The humans already knew. They just did not know that they knew.

When the body whispers the truth

Our inner knowledge actually feels very different from what we are used to. Many of us confuse our own intuition with thoughts coming from the mind, even though both levels feel completely different within the body. Thoughts from the mind are usually loud, doubting, restless, and full of analysis. Intuition, which flows from the pure heart connection to your animal, is quiet, clear, and immediately tangible in the body. It carries a very quiet, warm certainty, a subtle feeling that tells you that this is exactly right.

There are surely areas in your life as well where you know with absolute certainty that something is true, without being able to explain it rationally. Once you consciously pay attention to this, you will notice how much your body helps you to distinguish this quiet intuition from the loud thoughts in your head.

A moment of quiet certainty

Just a few days ago, I had a conversation in my practice that touched me deeply. A client’s female dog showed me very clearly that she cannot eat large portions at the moment because her stomach presses upward afterward, making it harder for her to breathe. She wished for several small portions throughout the day instead. When I told her human companion about this, she was quite amazed and told me that she had been doing exactly this for two weeks. She did not really know why, but something inside her had told her that it was better for her dog right now.

This is true connection. This is intuitive communication and a deep heart-to-heart knowledge that we do not even need to explain. Whether she received this information telepathically or whether her own body perceived and unconsciously acted upon her dog’s subtle discomfort does not matter in the least. Both are expressions of the very same deep bond. Her system simply understood what her animal needed, quietly and naturally.

You are much closer than you think

Perhaps you doubt yourself sometimes and think that you do not understand your animal correctly. But from the experience of hundreds of conversations, I want to assure you that our animals are speaking to us all the time. We absorb so much more than our minds want to allow, and you are in a far closer connection with your animal than you trust yourself to be in daily life.

When you begin to trust this inner knowledge again, so much changes. Your perception becomes finer, your decisions become clearer, your relationship with your animal becomes more natural, and your own heart becomes noticeably calmer. Your animal knows you and you know your animal, on a level that lies much deeper than any written words.

An invitation to your feeling

I would love to invite you to a very small, gentle practice over the coming days. The next time you make a decision for your animal, pay close attention to your very first feeling, even before the second, explanatory thought of your mind kicks in. Ask yourself briefly how this first impulse feels in your body. Is there an openness, a quietness, and a soft feeling, or does something inside you tighten up with pressure and doubt?

You will very quickly feel where the information is coming from, whether from your head or directly from your shared connection. And perhaps you will realize with a smile that you have been doing exactly the right thing for a very long time.

If you feel the desire to understand your animal even more clearly and to trust your own feelings more deeply again, I would be honored to accompany you on this path from the heart.

From heart to heart, Tanja
