You may have heard of hypersensitivity in people – or perhaps you’re a highly sensitive person yourself, sometimes feeling overwhelmed by the intensity of daily life and the energy around you.
But it’s not just us humans who are affected. Our animals can also be deeply sensitive to the world around them.
Some animals are like gentle souls who occasionally feel overwhelmed by the physical experience of life.
They may startle easily, react with anxiety to change, withdraw from interaction, and need extra calm, patience, and loving care.
Some time ago, I was privileged to speak with such a fine soul.
She had suffered two seizures that disrupted her sense of balance, and her consciousness had almost completely retreated from her body in response.
The experience had been so distressing that she wanted to avoid ever feeling that way again.
In our communication, I was able to explain what had happened and gently encourage her to feel safe again and return fully to her physical body.
Her human companion later told me with great joy that she was once again exploring the world with curiosity, seeking out contact, and reacting with far less fear.
These moments touch me deeply every time. 💛
And even if the signs are more subtle – many animals can feel overwhelmed now and then.
Energetic changes like solar flares, magnetic field shifts, or even our own emotions – anxiety, worry, stress – all have an effect on them.
So how can you support your animal during these times?
Here are a few simple ways:
✨ Gently stroke your animal and imagine brushing away heavy energies, letting them flow out through their paws into the Earth, where they are held and transformed.
✨ Go for a walk in nature or sit in your garden, breathing in the fresh, light energy of spring.
✨ Listen to healing sounds together or invite your animal to join you in a meditation. Many love being part of such shared moments.
✨ Bathe yourselves in golden light, seeing all heaviness being transformed into ease and clarity.
✨ If your animal is struggling with a situation, explain what’s happening. Let them know they are helping you in their own way – often they feel frustrated when they think they can’t support us.
The more consciously we release what weighs us down, the easier it becomes – for us, and for all those who feel deeply.
And that brings us closer to peace and lightness in our hearts.
With love for you and your animal,
Tanja
