In my last challenge, we explored how to deepen our communication with our animals. Your feedback confirmed what I’ve experienced myself: our animals open up to us more when we’re willing to open up to them.

Our animals have a simple wish: they want to get to know us better. They want to understand why we do certain things, what drives us, what matters to us, and what’s going on in our lives. Just like in a human friendship built on mutual respect, the same principle applies here: when we share something personal about ourselves, they’re more likely to share something personal about themselves. It’s a give-and-take, an exchange, not an interview.

Think about it: how would you feel if someone kept asking you questions without ever revealing anything about themselves? At some point, you’d probably start answering more superficially. Our animals are no different. They crave conversations filled with openness and mutual respect.

Even if you’ve never taken a course in animal communication, you can start talking to your animal right now. Explain to them what’s happening in your life, what’s important to you, and what it means to you. Speak out loud, intentionally – your message will get through! While animals are incredibly intuitive and pick up on a lot, they don’t always understand everything about our human world.

Give it a try! Take time for an honest exchange with your animal. Share your thoughts and feelings with them, and observe what changes in your relationship. I’m confident it will strengthen your bond.

I’d love to hear about your experiences – feel free to share how these conversations have deepened your connection!

Enjoy this special exchange with your animal.

Love to you and your animals,
Tanja
